LeadRight Workshop Description


Module: LeadRight Development Training
Course Length: 7 - 8 hours

This interactive workshop and group experience provides leaders and aspiring leaders an in depth analysis and evaluation of their leadership strengths and growth areas, following the comprehensive format of the LeadRight Assessment. Using LionsLead leadership development evaluation tools and methods, participants leadership behaviors are measured to provide personalized growth plans for individuals and teams. Team Roles are also evaluated, identifying primary and secondary roles, and evaluating each team members function, alongside the exhaustive work of Dr. Meredith Belbin and Dr. Dan Snively.

  • Training and Results are presented thorough interactive discussion and application of the findings from each of the five competencies and their respective attributes.

  • Participants will understand how their unique individual strengths contribute to the team’s strengths as well as challenges.

  • Participants will receive an in-depth analysis on the effects of their current leadership behaviors and the benefits of developing a personal growth plan.

  • Insights are shared to develop as a team and to be mindful of pitfalls that impair both the team and each other’s individual effectiveness.

  • Analysis tools include the team role index which evaluates strengths and capacity derived from the work of Dr. Meredith Belbin. Dr. Belbin has researched, tested, and developed the Team Role Model extensively over the last 50 years. Findings from this assessment will equip leaders and teams to build the right combination of members and team dynamics to tackle an array of complex projects and initiatives with great efficiency and effectiveness.

  • The LeadRight© evaluation incorporates the Belbin team roles definition & dynamics. We can report and explore individual roles and their effect on team dynamics as well as present multiple team role combinations to help organizations prosper by leveraging each other’s unique talent.

Day 1 Subtopic: LeadRight training, team results, team roles, and interactive discussion.
Time Allotted: 7-8 hours
Description: This workshop is a review and discussion of the team’s results. Partificpants will gain knowledge for developing a leadership growth plan individually and as a group. Workshop also includes team role distribution and tuning team dynamics to become a high performing team.

Instructional Methods: Instructor-led, online, open group forum. (Private workshops available upon request)
